We called in Ryan Gowland ( The New World Pictures Podcast) to host the show (the only time this has ever happened) and your regular host (me) is in the hot seat. I think you will find that not only is Ryan a fantastic host but his incredible writing is also highlighted here. This format is very structured and writing heavy. As the host you have to lead people into the odd format and then showcase bonkers elements for each year. Ryan does so quite effortlessly and I think this episode is a great example of one of his many strengths. Sure he is a strong host on NWPP with assured research capabilities but he is also an accomplished performer who can take that information and communicate it in an informative AND entertaining way. He has written for the Physical Media Advocate and contributed to the Sorority House Massacre blu-ray to name a few of his efforts but I suspect we will see more from him by way of essays and more as more people realize his talents. Sure, here he is a friend stepping in to host and I am so thankful to have him lead this episode but I also couldn't help but be impressed.
