We are calling it! Fall is here and it is time to get contemplative and watch movies with maybe less exploding motorcycles. Maybe not the entire fall but right now we are joined by John Arminio of the Popcorn Eschaton Podcast and Annalisa of Low Brow Antics to witness Has Wojciech's The Hourglass Sanitorium (1973.) A film which can feel cold and distant but if you begin to ruffle its feathers, it can unfurl in ways that will have you returning to it again and again. I can honestly say that it has not left my mind since rewatching it. A true masterpiece of Polish cinema and one definitely deserving of more eyes.
